NLVBC has been honored to enjoy an amazing turnout for our Las Vegas ScriptureFest for the past two years. These grand events have been a highlight of our year for fellowship, fun, and FOCUS on God's Word for our NLVBC family and out of town guests. What could be better than this?

Introducing Las Vegas ScriptureFest "Sessions" for 2025.

In place of one large event, we are launching the LVSFSessions. Our hope is that we will be able to offer multiple LVSFSessions, if the Lord opens that door. Stay tuned! 

While LVSFSessions may not be the same schedule-packed event as our previous ScriptureFest, the most important thing remains which is the focus on the Word of God and fellowship of believers.

Scripture Focus - 2nd Timothy

The main event begins at 5 pm with food and fellowship, followed by the recitation of the entire book of 2nd Timothy! Maybe even twice!

What IS a ScriptureFest? 

The Universal Headquarters of ScriptureFest simply states that Scripture Fest (nation wide) is a festival of Scripture!  You can find Scripture Fests all over the country, from coast to coast and each one is a little different but all with the focus on the Word of God.  Believers gather together to proclaim the Word of God and magnify Jesus. Honestly, it is hard to explain. You must join us to really find out! (To see what is happening with other ScriptureFests visit scripturefest.com)

What does “reciting” involve?

First, select a passage from the options below. Next, memorize it, and finally, at our fellowship on March 28th, we will take turns reciting the passages in order in a casual setting. 

What if I forget?

You are more than welcome to have a copy of your passage with you while you recite to glance at if needed.

Do I have to do it all by myself or can I sign up with friends?

You can sign up as an individual or with a friend or family member. In the past we had attendees sign up with their family, class, or with a group of friends. You choose.  Perhaps you can challenge a friend or spouse to do this with you as a new step in your spiritual walk in memorizing the Word of God together!

Can I dress up?

Sure! Some participants may enjoy reciting in character and dressing up as the apostle Paul, the author of 2 Timothy. 

What if all the passages are taken? 

This would be a great problem. We will solve that by adding another book. If registration overflows, then check back soon for the addition of more passages. (Indeed we had to add more passages so Titus was chosen!)

NOTE TO OUT OF TOWN GUESTS - There is a little more info for you regarding the remainder of the weekend and hopefully answer any questions. Please request more information here if you are planning to visit from out of town. (This is NOT a registration form. You will only get more information.)
